Team Tennis, Picnic
On Saturday April 30, 2011, following a Pizza Party, finals of the Spring 2011 Team Tennis were played. Final results were as under:
- Winners – Team 3 lead by Alim with Steve, Marina and Chris.
- Runner up – Team 1 lead by Cliff with Tom, Elsie and Caryn.
- 3rd Position – Team 2 lead by Singh with Nabil, Sandra and Lalitha.

On Saturday May 7, 2011, at 2pm, the club’s annual picnic took place at Magnolia Tree Park, Tustin which was well attended. Participants brought tasty food while the club provided drinks and party supplies. Thanks to Kay Matson for a wonderful arrangement and setup. Members enjoyed the food and friendly tennis. There was a competition for guessing the number of balls in a bag. The winner was Donna Wood who got a new can of balls in addition to the bag full of used balls. At the end, a general meeting was held to elect the nominees for the Board positions and Chairpersons for 2011-2012. With unanimous vote, all the nominees were elected as presented.
